I have wagered on millions of hands of twenty-one. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have wagered on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of money at blackjack. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to defeat the house.

I still like the game and wager on a regular basis. Over this time period I have played a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get flush with this method or beat the house, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is based on the fact that vingt-et-un appears to be a match of streaks. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the bet back down to the original bet.

I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely exciting on occasion. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a few years ago with $750 after 35 minutes using this tactic! And a few days ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can give away a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the streaks you see wagering this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar table.

Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 5 dollar bet

Wager $5
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar

Bet ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 10 dollar bet

Wager 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Bet $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager

Wager 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40

Wager forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original $40 wager

Wager $40
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of $80

Wager $80
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 bet

Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Wager $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet

If you departed at this point you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!

It’s herculean to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
