I have enjoyed millions of rounds of vingt-et-un. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have wagered on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost an abundance of cash at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to defeat the game.

I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get loaded with this tactic or defeat the house, however you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is centered on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a match of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the action back down to the original sum.

I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely fun on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a few years ago with $750 after 20 minutes using this technique! And a few weeks ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!

You need to understand that you can give up a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be aghast at the streaks you notice gamble this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.

Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the initial five dollar wager

Bet 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar

Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 10 dollar bet

Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Wager 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the first $20 bet

Bet $20
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $40

Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 40 dollar wager

Bet forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80

Wager eighty dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial $80 bet

Bet 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar

Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the original one hundred and 60 dollar bet

If you departed at this point you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!

It’s difficult to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
